User Roles
This article provides an overview of the user roles within our platform, detailing the permissions and responsibilities for each role: Admin, Content Creator, and Analyst.
Any customer who was originally a Super Admin or Admin is now an Analyst role.
Admin
The Admin role is designed for HR administrators and leadership executives who require comprehensive access to manage and oversee the platform.
- Permissions:
- Full access to all platform features and functionalities.
- Create and manage Spotlights to highlight key initiatives or achievements.
- Create and manage Shortcuts for streamlined workflows.
- Access to all reports for data-driven decision-making.
- View and manage all recognition activities, including those marked as private.
- Intended Users: HR administrators, leadership executives, and other high-level stakeholders.
If you need to adjust points, change a user status, or more, send a request to the Connects Help Desk.
If you need to update employee data, send the data request to your pre-assigned SFTP.
Content Creator
The Content Creator role focuses on generating and managing content to enhance user engagement and platform visibility.
- Permissions:
- Full access to all platform features and functionalities.

- Create and manage Shortcuts to improve user experience and efficiency.
- Intended Users: Team members responsible for content development and engagement initiatives.

Analyst
The Analyst role is tailored for users who need to analyze data and generate insights from the platform’s reporting tools.
- Permissions:
- Full access to all platform features and functionalities.

User
The User role is for all other employees in the system. These users will be able to send and receive recognition.

- Full access to all platform features and functionalities.
- Intended Users: All employees.
