How to Create a Shortcut

Shortcuts easily connect your organization to sources outside of your platform. See how to create them below.

As an Admin, you can create Shortcuts within your organization's recognition platform.

  1. Under the Manage section of your left navigation area, click on Content. Manage - Content-png
  2. Under the Shortcuts tab, you can see a list of current Shortcuts and edit, delete or Preview them.
  3. To create a Shortcut, click the New button.

  4. Enter the Title for the Shortcut you want to create. The title is optional but recommended.
  5. Drop or click to search for an image to add as the Shortcut Image.
    1. The images that appear for Shortcuts on the Home page of the platform. Images are optional. If you do not put an image, your primary site color will automatically apply as the image.
      • Recommended dimensions: 700 x 200 pixels
      • File type: PDF, JPEG, PNG, or GIF
      • File size: 5 MB maximum
      • If there are words in the image, it's best to keep them centered
  6. Enter the URL you want the Shortcut to direct to.
  7. Click Save.

  8. Shortcuts will appear in the order they are created. You can rearrange the order by clicking next to a Shortcut, holding down your mouse, and dragging and dropping it to where you want it to fall within the list. Your cursor will take on the appearance of a hand that grabs the Shortcut when you move it.

  9. Shortcuts appear on the Home page, under the Upcoming Celebrations.

    • Link to your organization's Learning & Development platform
