Email domain authentication is a security capability that reduces harmful cyber-attacks by allowing only emails from approved senders to be received in the inbox.
By allow listing, you enable Inspirus to send authenticated messages from our servers that your employees can trust when receiving recognitions and rewards.
How It Works
- Your IT team will need to upload DNS files to allow our domains to send emails with your email address.
- When complete, we will send a test email.
- Connects will ensure that email delivery was validated.
Inspirus will check the above box after following the DNS setup to indicate domain authentication completion.
Email Authentication Checklist
- Decide on Your Email
- Organize Your IT team to Update DNS
- Inspirus will generate DNS records (CNAME and TXT records) and send you an email with the records needed for authentication. This will take us 24-48 hours to set up.
- Your IT team will need to update your DNS Records.
- The faster your IT can update DNS, the faster we are able to authenticate.
- Once complete, Inspirus will work internally to send a test email and ensure authentication.
- A checkbox within Connects will show that emails are validated. (See image above)
